RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

At Leelas, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, please review our policy below.

Returns

We accept returns on eligible full-priced items within 7 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unworn, unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging are attached.
  • The item is free from perfume, makeup, stains, odours, or damage.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, unless required by applicable South African consumer protection laws:

  • Sale, promotional, discounted, and clearance items.
  • Jewellery items (including earrings, necklaces, bangles, bracelets, rings, and other accessories) due to hygiene and health considerations.
  • Custom-made, altered, or specially ordered garments.
  • Gift cards and vouchers.
  • Items damaged through misuse, improper care, or normal wear and tear.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please email orders@leelas.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • Your full name
  • The reason for the return
  • Photographs (if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect)

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions if the item qualifies for return.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service, as Leelas cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges on eligible full-priced items for a different size or colour, subject to stock availability.

If the requested item is unavailable, a store credit may be issued at our discretion.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Where applicable, Leelas will arrange collection and provide a replacement, exchange, repair, or refund in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act.

Important Notice

While every effort is made to accurately display product colours and details, actual colours may vary slightly due to differences in screen settings, lighting, and device displays.
